NHPA is incredibly lucky to have all of our members, Board of Directors, and volunteers who work so hard on our committees and as liaisons! Many of you are already familiar with our very own Dr. Julie B. Wolter, in her capacity as BHAC Chair, and our Director of Professional Affairs to APA. 

But did you also know….. that Dr. Wolter was voted to serve as Member At Large for both APA Division 31 and 42? These were competitive seats with many candidates. Her expertise and experience led her to be chosen. 

AND….It doesn’t end there.   

We were notified that Dr. Wolter will be receiving the prestigious Karl F Heiser Presidential Award for Advocacy. This honor will be conferred upon her by the APA President Dr Wendy Williams at the APA Convention in August. NHPA was pleased to work with our friends at the Rhode Island Psychological Association to jointly nominate her for this well deserving award. Please join us in congratulating her and in our appreciation for all she does on a daily basis to fight for the practice of psychology!
